The purchase of these 3-1/2” diameter, shatter-resistant keepsake ornaments help raise money for seriously injured soldiers and veterans.
Greater Newington Charitable Society, Inc. (GNCS) is holding a keepsake ornament fundraiser to support veteran causes. The fundraiser starts Monday, November 27th and will run throughout the holiday season.
GNCS President Melanie Tregoning explains, “We are asking the public to show their support for our brave military personnel who gave so much for our freedom. The purchase of these ornaments will help raise money for seriously injured soldiers and veterans. 100% of the proceeds will go to veterans' causes, including Fisher House Connecticut and other GNCS charities.”
Keepsake ornaments can also be purchased directly from any GNCS member and additional donations are being accepted. “These shatter-resistant, three-and one-half inch diameter ornaments are available in gold or blue with a metallic finish and white imprint. They are a great addition to anyone’s holiday decor and a great gift idea,” said GNCS member Nancy Dwyer.
